16. ADF / SADF

When using the Reversing Automatic Document Feeder, you can select either; the continuous feed mode
(default setting), in which originals are automatically fed in one by one after the [START] button is pressed,
or the single feed mode, in which an original is automatically pulled in after insertion and copying is
started.
It is useful to select the continuous feed mode for copying multiple originals at one time, and the single
feed mode for copying one original individually.

To set different size originals, see P.75 “When copying mixed-size originals in one go”.

Continuous feed mode

Place paper in the drawer(s).

Press the [EDIT] button to enter the edit menu, and then press the
[SADF] button.

• If the [ADF] button is already displayed, the continuous feed mode is set. In this case, skip to step 5.
• If the desired function button is not displayed, press the [Prev] or [Next] button to switch the menu.

Place the original(s) on the Reversing Automatic Document Feeder.

Press the [ADF] button.

• Select other copy modes as required.
