View/Set Network Parameters

Displays the Network Parameters Menu (Figure 5.4), which is

used to define the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway Address

and access the IP Security Menu. For more information on the

Network Parameters Menu, please refer to Section 5.6.

/M

View/Set Monitor Mode Parameters

Displays the Monitor Mode Parameters Menu (Figure 5.6), which

is used to enable and configure the Monitor Mode feature. The

Monitor Mode allows the PLS to perform automatic A/B

switching, based on the signal level of an RS-2323 line or

contact connected to the Monitor Input Port. For more

information on the Monitor Mode, please refer to Section 5.7.
Command Format: /M [Enter]
Response:
Displays Monitor Mode Parameters Menu.
Command Availability: System Only.

/DL Download Configuration to File

Saves currently defined PLS configuration parameters to an

ASCII file on your PC. This allows you to either "back-up"

parameters as a safety measure, or download the parameters to

another PLS-345 if several units will be configured with the

same parameters. For more information on saving configuration

parameters, please refer to Section 8.
Command Format: /DL [Enter]
Response:
Prompts the user to configure terminal application to

receive parameter file, waits for confirmation, and then

downloads configuration parameters to an ASCII file on your

hard drive when confirmation is given.

Command Availability: System Only.
