Feature settings variants

There are several ways of setting the features for your phone and for the system:

Using menus

The handset menus are a user-friendly way of setting the features you want. Some menu entries are
only displayed on your handset if you are authorised to use the relevant feature. Contact your sys-
tem administrator if you have any questions regarding individual features or if you find you are
unable to use a particular feature to your satisfaction.

Using programmed keys

You can access a large number of features quickly by programming them on your handset’s keys
(see page 94).

Using code digits

Many features can also be set by entering code digits. The code digits are entered using the * and #
keys together with a particular sequence of digits (keys 0 to 9). These inputs are provided for analo-
gue terminals operating on your system. However the code digits can also be used on your handset.
They are described in the User’s Guide relating to the analogue terminals. Ask your system adminis-
trator for more details.
