Guidelines

Consider these suggestions and guidelines to keep your Cordless

in good shape and working properly.

Note: The Cordless does not contain user serviceable

parts. If your Cordless requires service you should return it

to the supplier or retailer from whom it was bought.

Safety information

The Cordless DT412, DT422 and DT432 are IP64 classified, which

means that they are robust, dust- and waterproof, designed for

people working in tough environments.

Intrinsic safety (DT432)

The DT432 phone is approved according to the ATEX directive to

be used in potentially explosive gas and dust environments.
Compliance with the Essential Health and Safety Requirements,

with the exception of those listed in the schedule to this certificate,

has been assured by compliance with the following documents:
EN 50014:1997 plus amendments A1 and A2
EN 50020:2002
IEC 61241-0:2004 plus Corrigendum 1
IEC 61241-11:2005
IEC 60529:1989
The classification and marking on the product is “II 2G EEx ib IIC

T4” for gas and “II 3D Ex ibD 22 IP64 T50°C” for dust.

Battery handling

The battery contains environmental polluting material. If damaged,

return it to a collecting point.

Note: Only use the charger that is delivered with your

Cordless to charge the battery.
