Use a 12mm socket or wrench to tighten the sway bar mounting brackets. Torque the hardware
to 30ft/lbs. Use a 14mm wrench and 5mm Allen wrench to tighten the end link sway bar. Torque
the end link hardware to 25ft/lbs.

As was shown on the front bar, the stiffness of the rear bar is determined by the hole used with the end

link. The hole nearest the ends is the “soft” setting and the hole towards the middle is the “hard” setting.

Re-check the hardware for tightness. Cover the zerk fittings with the caps attached to the
brackets. Use the jack to remove the jack stands and you’re finished installing your Hotchkis
Tuning sway bar set.

IMPORTANT:

For regular maintenance the sway bar bushings should be greased at least once a

year (15,000 miles) or whenever excessive noise occurs. Use non-lithium based grease only!

Lithium

grease can wash out with water.
