Securing High-Back Booster Seat in Vehicle
1. If vehicle seat back is adjustable, adjust into the upright position or
the position or the position specified in the vehicle owner’s manual
for use with a Car Seat.
2. Place booster seat firmly against the back of a forward-facing vehicle
seat equipped with a lap/shoulder belt only.
3. If available, attach the Tether
Strap and tighten.
• Fasten the Tether Hook to the vehicle
tether anchor point. (Fig 60-1)
• Tighten the Tether Strap securely by pulling the
free end of the Tether Strap firmly toward you as
shown. (Fig 60-2)
Note: To loosen/lengthen the Tether
Strap, press on the Tether Adjuster button
while pulling on the Tether Hook.
4. Position the vehicle shoulder
belt through the shoulder belt
guide. (Fig 60-3) DO NOT place
underneath the shoulder belt
guide. (Fig 60-4)
