3.3.24 Changing the NAS sharing permission

By default, the NAS network folder is set as a shared folder open to all users. Change the

shared folder permission if you want sole and full control over the NAS network folder,

and create your own account for full access to the NAS network folder.

To disable the NAS sharing function:
1. Log in the Web GUI and go to Configuration Center > Shared folder.
. In the Users page, create your account name and password. See

. In the Folder permission page, delete the shared network folder and assign the

network folder to your account.

4. Launch NAS Discovery.
5. Click Map to Disk and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the network drive

mapping process.
