1 Introduction
1.1
Scope of the Manual
This instruction manual explains the features, installation, and maintenance of Argus Technologies’ Tempest
Te25xh Outdoor Power Enclosure.

1.2 Product
Overview
The Te25xh is a multipurpose enclosure optimized for small DC power applications requiring batteries, power
equipment or both.
The Te25xh’s compact size is one of its many advantages. With an area size of 36” x 21” x 20” the Te25xh
completes the Tempest enclosure line to fulfill small power applications. This enclosure is ideal for rural and urban
installations, applications requiring temperature control, and indoor security considerations. Service providers can
easily install onto a pole, wall or pedestal mount increasing the many uses for this enclosure.
Inside the Te25xh’s rugged, graffiti-resistant exterior, optimal temperature is maintained with a fan cooling
system. A solid steel internal equipment rack and a non-corrosive, light aluminum exterior ensures the structural
integrity of the Tempest Te25xh and endorses a NEMA 3R rating. The exterior is fully protected with a
padlockable door and intrusion alarms.
Each Te25xh includes:
• Zone 4 (seismic) enclosure design
• Aluminum construction
• Padlockable front door
• Intrusion alarm
• Enclosure master ground bar
• Cable knockouts for access via rear and bottom
• Fan cooling with louvers and filter
• Pre-cabled for batteries with Anderson disconnect
• Rectifier alarm / communications cabling
• NEMA 3R rated
• Battery tray with heater mat
• CSA certification
• Five RU 19” rack channels for optional equipment
