7.3 DC

Power

Connections

DC power connections include customer load/equipment circuit breakers and battery circuit breakers (pre-wired).
Circuit breakers are labeled on the front panel of the DC distribution section of the rectifier shelf and each
corresponding output power load cable set connection is marked on terminal block of system input/output
termination panel.

7.4 Alarm

Connections

Alarm output connections are provided on system I/O termination panel.

NOTE: If necessary, configurations changes can be made at the system I/O termination panel. See system schematic

and customer connection drawing (029-006-08) at the rear of this manual for alarm connection details.

7.5

Battery Temperature Sensor Cable

A battery temperature compensation cable with 3/8” lug is included for installation when batteries are installed.
Lug should be mounted to the negative-most centre post as required.

7.6

Customer Equipment Installation

Five RU is allocated to customer or power equipment. As noted above, DC power connection is provided from the
DC distribution section on I/O termination panel.

Cable entry knockouts are provided at the rear or bottom of the enclosure to provide cable routing for external DC
power terminations.

NOTE: Rear access is limited; connections must be made on customer’s ancillary equipment prior to mounting on

equipment rails.
