C1 Calibration

It is recommended to calibrate spectro-color

®

at

least once a day. spectro-color

®

should also be

calibrated before every set-off measurement or

after extended breaks (several days).

After 24 hours without calibration, a warning is

issued on the display Go for yes to skip

directly to the calibration routine. If you don’t

want to calibrate, because e.g. your calibration

standard is not on hand, you can continue

measuring without recalibration.

For calibration press key

Ø in the main menu. On the submenu, item

Calibrate

is

highlighted. To go to the calibration routine, press ok .

The display reads now:

Measure the black calibration standard with

spectro-color

®

.

ATTENTION:

Do not move spectro-color

®

as long as the

display shows a clock. The procedure takes

about 5 seconds.

After the black calibration measure the white

calibration standard. The procedure takes about

5 seconds.

A message of successful calibration is

displayed and spectro-color

®

returns to the

program which was active before calibration.
