A2 Introduction

spectro-color

®

is a colorimeter operating on the spectral method described in DIN 5033 using

the d/8° circular viewing geometry, i.e. the sample is illuminated with polychromatic light with

the optical unit observing the reflected light from a 8° position towards the sample surface.

spectro-color

®

is a genuine grating colorimeter measuring the visible spectral range (400nm

to 700nm) at intervals of 10nm. A special reference beam system ensures highly reproducible

measurings. All measured values are saved and displayed digitally. A variety of international

colorimetric standards can be selected at the instrument. The

results can be printed via optional printer or transmitted to a PC

via interface. An optional PC-software is available to provide

single measuring values, entire set-off measurements or

statistical evaluations in listings or telling graphical displays. All

values can be calculated for 2° and 10°-standard observers

under several illuminants. For optional accessories see chapter
