C5 Mean Value calculation
In colour and colour difference measurements it is sometimes required to take the mean of
several single measurements. For mean value calculation, press key M . All following
measurements are stored for the mean value calculation.
• Press the M key to select mean value
calculation. Then you see the display
shown on the right.
• Place
spectro-color
®
on the sample.
• Trigger measurement with the measure
button.
• From the second measurement on, the
sigma key
∑ and Cl appear.
• After pressing the Cl key, the latest
measured value is deleted.
• Pressing
the
∑ key finishes the mean
value calculation and displays the result.
The standard deviation and coefficient of
variability are indicated in the print-out, too.
Mean value calculation is feasible with
reference and difference measurement.
