English 105

The special shape of the overflow vessel used has important

functions and some particular advantages:

Sample removal in the device, directly at the sample feed, and thus
a small dead time

Further routing of the excess sample and use in any downstream
devices (for example phosphate or
nitrate photometer)

Air bubble separation

Sample reserve for short-term failure of sample supply

It is only attached with a retaining clamp and can be easily pulled out for
cleaning purposes.
The incoming and outgoing hoses are connected with hose connectors
and can also be easily pulled out. To clean the overflow vessel and the
hoses, a weak sodium chloride solution (chlorine bleach) is sufficient.
With extreme dirt or strong bacteria growth, the hoses should be
completely exchanged.

Stirrer vessel

The stirrer vessel provides the fast and thorough mixing of the sample
(null and standard solution) and the reagents A and B. The stirrer vessel
can be dismantled conveniently and without special aids.
For assembly, first insert the stirrer disk and O-ring and then screw the
seal plug hand tight.
The dosing hoses are inserted in the stirrer vessel via hollow screws.
