Solid-containing samples must be pre-treated prior to entry into the
process device:
•
For the activated sludge tank and post-sewage treatment area,
FILTRAX is recommended
• For the pre-sewage treatment and feed area, ultrafiltration or similar
procedures have proven themselves
Installation
Operating environment
Select a suitable place for installation of the instrument. Plan the
mechanical installation before the application of supports or the drilling
of holes.
Make sure that the hardware can support sufficient weight. The wall
plugs selected must be suitable for the wall composition and also be
approved for this.
Plan the cable and lead routing in order to avoid sharp bends and
tripping hazards.

Protect the device against extreme temperatures from heaters, direct sunlight and
other heat sources.
N O T I C E
The device has been designed exclusively for wall installation.
C A U T I O N
Note the weight (approx. 50 kg) of the instrument. Do not try to carry the instru-
ment without help.
Use only suitable lifting devices for the transport.
N O T I C E
Each process device should have a separate drain hose! The individual device
drains may only be combined in a larger drain pipe with regular water throughput.
