During a cuvette change, perform the following work procedures with
care (!)!

Measurement ranges 20 mg / 80 mg

1.

Press one of the function keys F1–F4 for seconds and select the

[+SERVICE] menu.

2.

Pull off the hoses coupled with quick connectors.

3.

Take out the cuvette upward at centering pin.

4.

After the installation of a new cuvette, start a calibration procedure

with [CALIBRATE].

Measurement range 2 mg

1.

Press one of the function keys F1–F4 for three seconds and select

the [+SERVICE] menu.

2.

Pull off the hoses coupled with quick connectors from the cuvette.

3.

Loosen the knurled screws of the halogen lamp and remove

halogen lamp – Caution: hot!

4.

Unscrew the cuvettes/optics block and remove the cuvette cover.

5.

The cuvette can now be carefully removed together with the two

sponge rubbers.

6.

After the installation of a new cuvette, start a calibration procedure

with [CALIBRATE].

General maintenance

Cleaning of the device

Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn contamination,
you can use a standard cleaning agent.

Maintenance

The manufacturer recommends the conclusion of an inspection contract.
This contract extends the warranty periods to five years and guarantees
the takeover of all inspections and repair work by qualified specialist
personnel. Furthermore, experiences and improvements flow constantly
into the devices and can be used by the user.

Maintenance schedule

A maintenance schedule belongs to the scope of delivery of each
device. To observe the maintenance tasks and inspections
unconditionally necessary for complex analysis machines, in this
schedule, the following reagent change / maintenance tasks /
inspections are acknowledged and the next respective due date entered.
