Using the Power Expansion Card
Two types of Power Expansion Cards are available and the type must be specified when 
ordering the unit. 
Power Expansion Card (part number: ACC‐EXP‐004‐X)
Power Expansion Card 2 (part number: ACC‐EXP‐005‐X)
Power Expansion Card
(part number: ACC‐EXP‐004‐X)
You can use the Power Expansion Card to power the drives to test for Emulation, 
SATA Compliance, and SAS Verification. The Power Expansion Card can supply 5 V or 12 V.

This card has several capabilities (see

Supplies power to devices at 12v, 5v, 3.3v, 1.5v and/or 1.2v.
Allows monitoring in the trace of the DevSlp signal as generated by the Trainer 
or Host Emulator, as well as when generated directly from a Host (using a dedi‐
cated DevSlp cable). See

Allows CATC Sync functionality to enable cascading, so there is no need to toggle 
between the Power Expansion Card and the Sync Expansion Card.
Allows power measurement to monitor and record the power, current and volt‐
age being used by the device it powers (will be supported in a future software 
release).
