9 Error messages
Basic information on this topic is contained in the operating manual BU 0200 GB. The following section
describes the error messages, which are assigned to functional safety.

The upgrade level of the frequency inverter was not
correctly identified.
EEPROM with a firmware status of version 1.2 or above
plugged in to an FI with older firmware status → Loss of
parameters!
Switch mains voltage off and on again.

E018 18.0 Safety circuit The safety circuit -safe pulse block- triggered while the
frequency inverter was being enabled.
Only available in SK 210E, SK 215E, SK 230E and SK 235E
NOTE
If a parameter loss occurs during operation of the frequency inverter (Error 8.0), the safety-
relevant parameters must be checked and a validation of the safety function must be
performed. This particularly applies if the memory module (external EEPROM) is replaced.
9.2 Error display
Frequency inverter: The error number is displayed as a flashing code of the status LED DS (Drive Status) in
"red".
SimpleBox: The SimpleBox indicates a fault with its number and the prefix "E". If the cause of the error is no
longer present, the error display in the SimpleBox flashes and the error can be acknowledged with the Enter
key.
ParameterBox: The error messages are shown in plain text.
