Notes When Power Saving Feature is Used (For TagmaStore AMS Subsystem,
TagmaStore WMS Subsystem)

When the external disk array is TagmaStore AMS2500, AMS2300, or AMS2100 and the power
saving feature is used, do not access the external volume which is spinning down from the host. When

becomes Blockade.

When the state of the external volume becomes Blockade, the external volume will recover automatically
in several hours. The external volume can be recovered manually by executing the Check Paths &
Restore Vol

. command.

Connecting XP24000/XP20000 Disk Arrays

When you connect an XP24000 Disk Array or XP20000 Disk Array as the external array, you need
to set the port to the host group for the Windows hosts (host mode 0C: Windows, host mode 2C:
Windows Extension). Also, the port attribute must be the target port or the RCU target port.
