Virtual Disks
A virtual disk (Vdisk) is a virtualized disk drive created by the controllers as
storage for one or more hosts. Virtual disk characteristics provide a specific
combination of capacity, availability, performance, and accessibility. The
controller pair manages virtual disk characteristics within the disk group specified
for the virtual disk.
The host computer sees the virtual disk exactly like it would see a physical disk
with the same characteristics.
