Table 12: Disk Drive Status Icon Descriptions
Icon Description
Drive Ready This green LED is a “drive ready” indicator and is On when the drive is idle.
Drive On-line The green LED for this icon is controlled by the disk drive. The LED may be Off
when:

There is no controller on the bus.
■
+5.1 VDC is not available.
■
The drive is not properly installed in the enclosure.
Drive Failure The amber LED flashes in synchronization with the other two LEDs in response to
the EMU locate command.
Depending on the host controller, the LED for this icon can flash when the
controller detects an error condition.
