NOTE: The migration of volumes in a fixed parity group, external volumes, and volumes reserved
by a program other than XP Auto LUN cannot be automated.
NOTE: Auto migration is not directed to volumes in a fixed parity group, external volumes, and
volumes reserved by a program other than XP Auto LUN.
The Auto Plan window of XP Auto LUN displays the following:
•
Monitoring Term: Displays the monitoring period specified in the Performance Management
window.
XP Auto LUN analyzes disk usage information collected by Performance Monitor during the
monitoring period, and then creates auto migration plans based on that analysis.

Gathering Interval: Displays the collection interval in long range used in Performance Monitor.
The interval in long range is fixed at 15 minutes.
•
Auto Migration Plans: The following items are displayed:
Auto Migration indicates whether auto migrations will take place. If this option is set to Enable,
auto migrations will take place at the time displayed in Next Migration. If this option is set to
Disable, auto migrations will not take place.
Migration Status indicates the progress of auto migration plans.
◦ If Not planned yet is displayed, XP Auto LUN has not yet created auto migration plans.
◦ If Not performed yet is displayed, XP Auto LUN has created auto migration plans, but
has not executed them yet.
◦ If Failed to make a plan is displayed, XP Auto LUN failed to create auto migration plans.
