external volume is not ready to be resumed, the status of the disconnected volume is Blockade. If
this occurs, see
“General troubleshooting ” (page 68) and proceed as directed.
Reconnecting an external storage system, all mapped volumes
When you reconnect an external system, all the mapped external volumes in the system are also
reconnected. This is the primary method for reconnecting the disconnected volumes in an external
system.
Required Role

To reconnect a disconnected external system and mapped volumes
1.
In Remote Web Console, click External Storages in the Storage Systems tree.
2. In the External Storages window, select the row for the external system to be reconnected.
3. Open the Reconnect External Storage Systems window in one of these ways.

In the External Storage Systems tab, click Reconnect External Storage Systems.
•
From the Actions menu, select Reconnect External Storage Systems.
4. In the Reconnect External Storage Systems window, check the volumes that will be reconnected,
accept or enter a new task name, and then click Apply.
5. In the Confirm window, click Apply again.
