Power Supply Module Removal and
Installation

The removal and installation of the power supply electronic module
requires the following tools:

1.

#2 Phillips screwdriver

2.

¼-inch width flat blade screwdriver

3.

5/16-inch open end wrench

Removal Procedure

1.

Remove five wires from terminal block TB1. Tie the wires from
above, so that they are out of the way and protected from damage.

2.

Remove the 12 sensor cable wires and the ground wire from
terminal block TB2. Tie the sensor cable off to one side, so that it
is out of the way and protected from damage.

3.

Remove two optical fibers from the fiber optic modem TX and RX
connectors. Tie the optical fibers to one side, so that they are out of
the way and protected from damage. Observe the 3-inch minimum
bending radius limitation of the fibers, do not bend them more
sharply than at a 3-inch radius.

4.

Remove 11 of the 12 Phillips head mounting screws that hold the
module in place. Leave the screw in between the fiber optic modem

WARNING

The fiber optic cable and the power cable share the same conduit.
Before proceeding make absolutely sure that the AC power is turned
off at the power distribution system. Then take an AC voltmeter and
measure the AC voltage between the black wire and each of the green
white and yellow wires; and between the red wire and each of the
green, white and yellow wires. All readings must be zero before
proceeding.
