Attaching the Ferrite Core

When attaching to the AC power cord

Attach the ferrite cores to both ends of the AC
power cord and close the ferrite cores until they
click.

2

Wind the stopper round the cord so that the ferrite
cores do not slide.

3

Tighten the stopper and cut the surplus.

When attaching to the cables

Attach the ferrite core to the end of the cable
closer to this unit, closing it until it clicks.

2

Wind the stopper round the cord so that the ferrite
core does not slide.

3

Tighten the stopper and cut the surplus.

Notes

• When you connect this unit to various pieces of

equipment using the RGB/YUV connectors, use the
specified cable.
SMF-400 (D-Sub 15P - 5 BNC)
SMF-410 (D-Sub 15P - D-Sub 15P)
When you connect a cable to any of the terminals
listed below, attach the ferrite core provided before
using the cable.
