When you want to enlarge the subject, setting to [AF Macro] (

) enables you to take

pictures at an even closer distance than the normal focus range (up to 1 cm (0.033 feet)

for max. Wide).

Press [AF/AF /MF]

Press to select [AF Macro] (

) and press [MENU/SET]

It may take some time until distant subjects come into focus.

Using a tripod and [Self Timer] is recommended. Also, when recording a subject that

is close to the camera, we recommend that you close the flash to set to [ ].

If the distance between the camera and the subject is beyond the focus range of the

camera, the picture may not be properly focused even if the focus indication lights.

If the lens becomes dirty with fingerprints or dust, the lens may not be able to focus on

the subject correctly.

Moving the camera after aligning the focus is likely to result in poorly focused pictures

if subject is close to the camera, due to the margin for focus alignment being severely

reduced.

Resolution may be reduced around the edges of the picture.

Cannot be set in the following case.

•In all Scene Modes except [3D Photo Mode]
