5.5 Upload File Error Message: Proxy Server Settings

A proxy server responds to client requests by making requests to other servers. A proxy server may
service their clients more quickly, without contacting a specified server, by retrieving content saved
from a previous request (cached). Caching proxies keep local copies of frequently requested
resources, allowing organizations to reduce network traffic on intranets, increase security by filtering
content and restricting access, and to significantly increase performance.

If your organization uses a proxy server, you may receive an error message when trying to upload
files to the Printgroove server. The message may vary, but will be similar to the one shown below.

If you receive a proxy error, the settings in both Internet Options and FireFox will need to include
your Printgroove server address in their exclusion file. Once the proxy exclusions are set, your
should be able to upload files to Printgroove without further incident.
