General Maintenance
A. Axle Oil Level Check
1. Level the vehicle, ground the carriage, place the travel select lever
in (N) NEUTRAL, move neutral lock lever to NEUTRAL LOCK posi-
tion, engage the parking brake switch and shut off the engine.
2. Clean the area around the axle fill plug and the axle level plugs
(Figure 96) and remove the plugs from the axle housing.
3. Add Universal Tractor Fluid to bring the oil level up and even with
the plug holes. See chart of approved fluids above.
4. Re-install the axle fill plug and the axle level plugs.
