Description
The Electrician’s Tree (wire rack) allows the operator a sta-
ble wire rack to hang spools of wire to be used on the job-
site. The Electrician’s Tree consists of a wire rack that is
manually released with the removal of release pins.
Safety Precautions
READ AND UNDERSTAND THE OPERATORS MANUAL FOR THE
SPECIFIC JLG MODEL BEING USED.
WHEN USING THE ELECTRICIAN’S TREE:
• DO NOT PULL WIRE BY DRIVING THE MACHINE.
• ONLY PULL WIRE WITH THE ELECTRICIANS TREE
IN THE WORKING POSITION.
• ONLY PULL WIRE ALONG THE LONG AXIS OF THE
MACHINE.
• ENSURE WIRE SPOOLS ARE FREE TO ROTATE AND
WIRE IS NOT ENTANGLED ON THE MACHINE
BEFORE PULLING WIRE.
Preparation and Inspection
• Check for cracked welds.
• Be sure that release pins function properly and
are intact.
• Refer to each specific accessory throughout this
manual for their operation.
Operation
1. Remove release pins and rotate Electrician’s Tree
from the stowed position.
2. Pull the hitch pin for the spool rod you will be load-
ing material onto.
3. Load the spool(s) onto the rod and replace the
hitch pin.
4. Swing the Electrician’s Tree into working position
and lock into place by replacing the release pin.
5. When not in use, remove material and place the
Electrician’s Tree to the stowed position.
Service and Maintenance
• Check for loose nuts and bolts and torque loose
nuts and bolts to JLG Torque Chart Specifica-
tions.
• Replace any missing or illegible decals, bent or
crushed tubes, any bent or damaged pins.
