2.2 PIPE POSITIONER
Description
This removable, platform mounted, pipe and duct posi-
tioning system includes jacks to lift heavy pipe and duct
work into place and the ability to position front-to-rear and
side-to-side.
Interchangeable heads allow for duct work up to 52 in.
(1.3 m) wide and pipe up to 8 in. (20 cm) in diameter.
Safety Precautions
WITH THE PIPE POSITIONER INSTALLED, THE ORIGINAL PLAT-
FORM CAPACITY RATINGS MAY BE REDUCED. REFER TO THE
CAPACITY DECAL LOCATED ON PLATE UNDER THE REAR PIPE
RACK BRACKET. DO NOT EXCEED RATED PLATFORM OR
EXTENSION CAPACITY.
Preparation and Inspection
• Check for cracked welds and damage to pipe
rack tubes. Make sure pipe rack is properly
secured to platform.
