1.7 PIPE RACKS
Description
This accessory is designed to allow pipes, conduit, etc. to
be up off the platform floor and out of the way of the oper-
ator until the material is needed
Safety Precautions
NOTE: When Workstation is installed, Pipe Racks and
Panel Carrier cannot be installed on the same
machine.
MULTIPLE MATERIAL HANDLING ACCESSORIES CAN BE
INSTALLED, BUT ONLY ONE MAY BE UTILIZED (LOADED) AT A
TIME, UNLESS APPROVED BY JLG INDUSTRIES, INC.
WITH THE PIPE RACKS INSTALLED, THE ORIGINAL PLATFORM
CAPACITY RATINGS MAY BE REDUCED. REFER TO THE CAPAC-
ITY DECAL LOCATED ON PLATE UNDER THE REAR PIPE RACK
BRACKET. DO NOT EXCEED RATED PLATFORM OR EXTENSION
CAPACITY.
Preparation and Inspection
• Check for cracked welds and damage to pipe
rack tubes. Make sure pipe rack is properly
secured to platform.
• Check to ensure that straps are not torn or
frayed.
• Only use the pipe rack option on models speci-
fied.
• Check for missing or illegible decals. Replace if
necessary
Pipe Rack Loading
1. To prepare pipe racks for loading, lift pipe rack up,
rotate outward and drop into the loading position.
2. Place load into the pipe racks. Do not exceed the
rated capacity stated on the pipe rack decal.
3. Route the straps at either end around the load and
tighten.
4. To remove the load loosen and remove the tie straps
then carefully remove the load from the pipe racks.
NOTE: Return pipe rack to the stowed position when not in
use.
