Cable specification
The bus devices are connected by means of a field bus cable which must comply with the
DeviceNet
TM specification (release 2.0). Companies like Belden Wire & Cable, Olflex Wire &
Cable, C&M Corp. and Madison Cable manufacture DeviceNet TM Thick" and Thin"
cables.

If you do not want to use Thick" or Thin" cables the cable must fulfill the
requirements of the DeviceNet specification, see
^ 48 or ^ 46 .
Any other cable is not permitted and must not be used.
