The spring-loaded pulley on sizes 13 - 40 can be removed from the shaft by applying a puller
behind the flange.
First, unscrew the fixing bolt (1) and remove the ring (4) (Fig. 8).

Whenthevariablepulleys have beendismantled, takecare thatthey arereassembled inthe
correctorder, otherwisetroublewillbecausedbyimbalance. Themarks onthepulleyplates
and the hub (Fig. 9) must match up. It is not possible to replace individual parts of the
pulleys, because they have sliding fits matched to one another, and the pulleys are
dynamically balanced as a complete unit.
