JaCket Water Heater and internal BatterY

CHarger 120 vaC input reCeptaCles

This generator can be optionally equipped with a single

120 VAC, 15 amp input receptacle (Figure 43) located on

the output terminal panel.
The purpose of this receptacle is to provide power via

commercial power to the

jacket water heater and internal

battery charger (Figure 44).
The receptacle will

onlY function when commercial power

has been supplied to it. To apply commercial power to the

receptacle, a power cord of adequate size will be required

(See Table 7).
When using the generator in

hot climates there is no

reason to apply power to jacket water heater. However, if

the generator will be used in

cold climates it is always a

good idea to apply power to the jacket water heater at all

times. To apply power to the jacket water heater simply

apply power to the jacket water heater receptacle via

commercial power using an power cord of adequate size.
