b) Carrying out the calibration test
(M ECHANICAL VERSION ONLY , SEE P ILOT INSTRUCTION

- Lower the shutter lever (located on the right-
hand side of the metering mechanism) to open
the calibration test flap.
Then lock the lever in place using the beta
pin.
- Place the calibration test sack under the
metering mechanism to collect the seed during
the test. Ensure that the sack is positioned
correctly so that no seed is lost during the test.
- Fit the crank to the wheel arm (Xeos MD) or the
metering mechanism (Xeos HD).
- Operate the distributor by turning the crank
anti-clockwise (Xeos MD) or clockwise (Xeos
HD) (minimum 20 turns).
- Empty the sack.
- Carry out the calibration test by making the
number of turns required:
³ 21.25 turns for seed at normal speed
³ 85 turns for small seed at micro speed
In this case, you must multiply the quantities obtained
by 40 or 10 respectively to obtain the correct rate.
- Remove the sack and weigh its contents.
- If there is a discrepancy with the indicative value
in the calibration chart, correct the sector position
of the metering mechanism proportionately.

b) Durchführung einer Abdrehprobe

- Streuschieberhebel (befindet sich rechts vom
Dosierer) senken, um die Klappe für die
Abdrehprobe zu öffnen.
Dann den Hebel mit dem Betastift verriegeln.
- Den Sack für die Abdrehprobe unter den
Dosierer platzieren, um das beim Test gestreute
Saatgut aufzufangen. Sicherstellen, dass der Sack
richtig positioniert ist, um bei der Abdrehprobe
keine Körner zu verlieren.
- Handkurbel auf den Radarm (Xeos MD) oder den
Dosierer (Xeos HD) schieben.
- Saatgutstreuung durch Drehen der Kurbel
entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn (Xeos MD) oder im
Uhrzeigersinn (Xeos HD) anlaufen lassen.
(Mindestens 20 Umdrehungen).
- Sack entleeren.
- Abdrehprobe anhand folgender Vorgaben (Zahl
der Umdrehungen) durchführen:
³ 21.25 U für Saatgut bei Normalgeschwindigkeit
³ 85 U für Saatgut bei Mikrogeschwindigkeit.
In diesem Fall müssen die erhaltenen Mengen mit 40
bzw. 10 multipliziert werden, um die einzustellende
Dosis zu ermitteln.
- Sack abnehmen und Inhalt wiegen.
- Bei Abweichung vom in der Streumengentabelle
angegebenen Richtwert ist die Position des
Dosierers auf der Skala proportional zu
korrigieren.

b) Réalisation de l’essai de débit

- Baisser le levier de trappe (situé à droite du
doseur) pour ouvrir le volet d'essai de débit.
Verrouiller ensuite le levier avec la goupille
béta.
- Placer le sac d'essai de débit sous le doseur
pour recueillir la semence lors du test. S'assurer
de la position du sac pour ne pas perdre de
graine lors de l'essai.
- Emboîter la manivelle sur le bras de roue
(xeos MD) ou sur le doseur (Xeos HD).
- Amorcer la distribution en tournant la manivelle
dans le sens antihoraire (xeos MD) ou dans
le sens horaire (xeos HD).
(20 tours minimum).
- Vider le sac.
- Réaliser l'essai de débit en effectuant le nombre
de tour nécessaire :
³ 21.25 tr pour les graines en vitesse normale
³ 85 tr pour les petites graines en vitesse micro.
Dans ce cas, il faudra multiplier respectivement par
40 et 10 les quantités obtenues pour avoir la dose
réglée.
- Retirer le sac et peser son contenu.
- En cas d'écart avec la valeur indicative du
tableau de débit, corriger la position du doseur
sur le secteur gradué de manière
proportionnelle.
