About the ControlLogix ControlNet Bridge Module
We designed the enhanced ControlLogix ControlNet module for
applications that require higher capacity, and we recommend that
you use this module with ControlLogix controllers to:
• expand systems for twice as much I/O control.
• effectively double the amount of Produce/Consume tags that
can be transferred between controllers.
• speed up existing applications to run faster.
Use the 1756-CN2 ControlLogix ControlNet module for stand-alone
applications only. Applications requiring controller redundancy must
use the 1756-CNB module.
ATTENTION
This equipment is sensitive to electrostatic discharge,
which can cause internal damage and affect normal
operation. Follow these guidelines when you handle this
equipment:
• Touch a grounded object to discharge potential static.
• Wear an approved grounding wriststrap.
• Do not touch connectors or pins on component
boards.
• Do not touch circuit components inside the
equipment.
• If available, use a static-safe workstation.
• When not in use, store the equipment in appropriate
static-safe packaging.
