4. Place the RAC6180 in the panel cutout. The RAC6180 will snap into
the panel as the temporary retaining tabs lock against the panel (see
note below).
Note: Versions of the RAC6180 designed for panel mounting
have metal tabs that temporarily lock the RAC6180 against
the panel. These tabs only facilitate installation of the
mounting hardware. The tabs are not designed to provide
permanent mounting.
5. Install the 10 mounting clips (Catalog No. 2711–NP1). The mounting
clips slide into the slots on the sides, top and bottom of the RAC6180
as indicated by the arrows shown on the following diagram (3 top, 3
bottom, 2 sides). Gradually tighten the clips one at a time around the
bezel (see tightening sequence below). Repeat this process at least
three times until the clips are hand tight and the gasket is compressed
uniformly against the panel.
