2. Run the HyperTerminal program. At the ‘Connection Description’
window, enter any name for new connection under the Name field as
shown below and then click OK.

3. In the ‘Connect to’ window, select COM1 from the drop list and click
OK.
4. In the ‘COM1 Properties’ window, configure the port settings as shown
below and click OK.

5. Close HyperTerminal program. When prompted, click Yes to disconnect
and save the connection.
6. To upload the control data, restart the HyperTerminal program, and in the
‘Connection Description’ window, click Cancel.
