The Machine State History report uses the pre-defined parameter set named “Last 30
Minutes Current Shift” which contains the following settings:

„

Date/Time/Shift: Last 30 minutes, Current Shift

„

Grouping: By Line and workcell - this cannot be altered

„

Sorting: By Line Order - this cannot be altered

„

Plant Model: None

„

Filtering: None

„

TopN: None

The Machine State History report displays one chart per line that shows the history of
Machine States for each workcell. Each machine state is displayed as a colored block, and
Time is displayed along the bottom of the Gantt chart.

This report has six control buttons. Each adjusts the parameter set time window of the
state data displayed:

<< Scroll left 1. This button decreases the parameter set time start and end by the
difference between end and start.

< Scroll left 1/4. This button decreases the parameter set time start and end by 1/4 the
difference between end and start.

>> Scroll right 1. This button increases the parameter set time start and end by the
difference between end and start.

> Scroll right 1/4. This button increases the parameter set time start and end by 1/4 the
difference between end and start.

Zoom In. This button zooms in 50% and increases the parameter set time start and
decreases the parameter set time end by 1/4 the difference between end and start.

Zoom Out. This button zooms out twice and decreases the parameter set time start and
increases the parameter set time end by 1/2 the difference between end and start.

You can change the data displayed in the Machine State History report by changing the
Date/Time/Shift and Plant Model parameters. For more information, refer to the Report Expert
User’s Guide

You must configure machine states for each workcell in order for this report to display data.
Machine states are not configured by default when you use the FactoryTalk Metrics LE
Configuration Tool. You must configure these manually. For information on how to configure
Machine States, refer to the FactoryTalk Metrics Users Guide.
