DESCRIPTION

The REVEL PERFORMA F30 loudspeaker features a transducer
complement (see Figure 2) of one 10-inch (250 mm) woofer, a
5.25-inch (133 mm) midrange driver, and a 1-inch (25 mm) tweeter.

Combined with an individually-optimized crossover network, this
transducer arrangement results in a superior off-axis response that
provides a large “listening window” and an uncolored in-room
response, even in the presence of strong wall reflections.

WOOFER

The 10-inch (250 mm) inverted aluminum-dome woofer features:

• True pistonic operation for increased freedom from coloration.

• Optimized and shielded magnetic circuits to minimize harmonic

distortion and prevent interference with video monitors.

• Butyl rubber surround for large, linear excursion capabilities.

• CCA (carbon composite aluminum) flat-wire voice coil on a

2–inch (50 mm) fiberglass bobbin for low mass with high
power handling.

• Vented center-pole piece for better cooling and low compression.
