Part Names
This section describes the names and functions of each part. Before you connect
the DR-7580/9080C, take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the main parts.
◆ Front View
Document Tray
Place the document in
this tray.
Upper Scanner
Open the upper scanner
to clean the rollers or if
paper becomes
jammed. (See p.70.)
Document Tray Extension/
Extension Wire
Pull this out and use it if documents extend
beyond the edge of the document tray. (See p.24.)
Power Switch
(See p.27.)
Document Guide
Set the paper guide for the
width of the document
you are going to scan.
Document Eject Tray Extension/Stopper
Use this if documents look like they are going to
fall off of the eject tray. (See p.25.)
Document Eject Tray Guide
Set this guide to the width of the
document being ejected. (See p.26.)
Imprinter Cover
Open out this cover when you are
adjusting the print position of the
optional imprinter.
Operation Panel
(See p.15.)
Do not open the imprinter cover when the optional imprinter is not installed.
