Chapter 4 Document Feeding and Scanning

◆ Automatic Feeding
To use the automatic feeding mode, after you instruct the scanner to start
scanning from the application, the scanner will start scanning as soon as it
detects a document in the document tray.

Select [Automatic Feeding] in [Feeding Option] on the ISIS/TWAIN
driver’s settings screen.

Place the first page of the document face up in the document tray,
aligning the document’s top edge against the back of the document
tray. Adjust the document guides to the width of the document.

Instruct scanning to start from the application.
Automatic scanning does not start when the document is placed before you instruct
scanning to start from the application. Either press the [Start] key, or remove and
place the document again.

Align a batch of documents to be scanned until the edges are even.
