System Alarm Setup

The System Alarm Setup allows the user to enable certain system parameters to generate an
alarm condition. To access the submenu click the button shown right.

This will bring up the System Alarm Setup Dialog box
shown right. There are several options that can be
checked, each can have a relay contact associated with it
(requires the Relay option), selected from the drop down
selection menu alongside the alarm condition. The
following system items can be checked to enable an
alarm.

Analog Board Fail

– the unit can no longer take readings.

Resource Level Too High

– could result in missing data

Security Alert

– unauthorized access attempted

FTP Error

– unit could not access a remote FTP server

Power Fail

– AC mains fails

E-mail Fail

– unit is unable to send email

If the “Send E-mail Alert” box is checked the unit will attempt to send an email on any checked alarm
condition.

Once the changes have been made press the accept button

to exit or the cancel button

to quit without saving the changes.

5.7.3 Date/Time Setting

Tapping the Date/Time icon shown left will bring up the Date/Time dialog. Here the user can set
the current Date, Time and Time Zone as well as the date format

There are two parts to setting the time and date. The first
window allows changing the date format and time indication.
To set the actual time and date press the Date/Time icon that
appears on the top left of the first window.

Date Format: Select the required date format from the pull
down menu

– mm/dd/yyyy, dd/mm/yyyy or dd month, year.

The time can be shown in 12 or 24 hour (military) formats.
Check the 24 Hour Format check box for 24 hour format;
uncheck it for 12 hour format.

Note: If

DHCP

is selected and a time server is available the

unit will get the current time from the network on start up or first
connection to the network. Similarly if the

NTP server

option is

set it will override the date time settings

To change the time, time zone, date or daylight savings time (DST) click the Date/Time icon

This will bring up the Date/Time window shown below right or to exit at this point press the accept button

to exit or the cancel button

to quit without saving the changes.
