1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing a Wheatheart Post Pounder. This equipment is
intended for the installation of fence posts, and will allow you to perform your
work safely and efficiently when you read and follow all of the instructions
contained in this manual. With proper care, your Post Pounder will provide you
with many years of trouble-free service.

Keep this manual handy for frequent reference and to review with new
personnel. A sign-off form is provided on the inside front cover for your conve-
nience. Call your local distributor or dealer if you need assistance or additional
information.

This manual should be regarded as part of the equipment. Suppliers of both new
and second-hand equipment are advised to retain documentary evidence that
this manual was provided with the machine.

Important:

This is a supplemental manual which contains additional information about how
to operate a Post Pounder and is not a substitute for the Post Pounder Operator
Manual. An operator is not considered trained on how to operate a Post Pounder
unless they have read and understood this manual and the Post Pounder
Operator Manual.

Operator Orientation: The directions left, right, front, and rear, as mentioned
throughout the manual, are as seen from the tractor, skid steer loader, or towing
vehicle driver seat and facing in the direction of travel when the unit is being
transported.
