Installing Other Features

If other options or accessories are also to be installed on
the same implement, the following sequencing may
make the work more convenient. From first to last:

Notations and Conventions

Definitions

The following terms are used throughout this manual.

Note: Paragraphs in this format provide useful

information related to the current topic.

Reference Information

See page 18 for fastener torque values.

See page 19 for hydraulic fitting torque values.

See page 20 for a legend of abbreviations.

Tools Required:

• lift or hoist with a capacity of 300 pounds (136 kg);

• 5 gallons (18 liters) hydraulic fluid;

• buckets or other oil collection means;

• tractor or hydraulic source;

• liquid pipe thread sealant, such as

RectorSeal

• current Operator and Parts manuals; and,

• basic hand tools.

LH First

Part numbers are often unique to left hand (LH) or right
hand (RH) markers. Instructions start with the LH wing,
but call out both LH and RH part numbers. Part
descriptions include LH or RH identifying text.

Skipable Steps

Skip any steps where components arrive pre-assembled.
Due to evolving manufacturing and shipping procedures,
marker components may be more extensively
pre-assembled than is assumed by these instructions.

Right-hand and left-hand as used in
this manual are determined by facing
the direction the machine will travel
while in use unless otherwise stated.

An orientation rose (right) depicts Up,
Right, Back, Down, Left and Front.
Some roses (as in Figure 1) have
legends “I” (to Inboard/Inside) and “O”
(to Outboard/Outside) instead of L and R.
