Connect Cylinders
Start with the left wing.
Install Cylinders
Refer to Figure 25
64. Select one set new:
810-423C CYL 3X24X1.50 ROD (TIE ROD)
805-004C PIN CLVS 1.0X2.75 USBL
805-058C PIN COTTER 3/16 X 2
Install the base end of the cylinder at the marker
mount lug , with the cylinder’s hydraulic port
facing up. Secure with clevis pin and cotter
pin .
65. Select two new:
811-065C EL 9/16MJIC 9/16MORB
At both cylinder ports that are facing up, remove any
plugs. Install the elbows
, with the MJIC ends
facing each other.
66. If the cylinder is already installed, disconnect the rod
end (to allow full extension for charge and bleed).
Remove and save one each:
805-058C PIN COTTER 3/16 X 2
805-131C PIN CLVS 1.0X4.69 USBL
and two:
804-028C WASHER FLAT 1 USS PLT
Connect Cylinder Hoses
Refer to Figure 26
67. Loosely connect the marker base/extend hose
to
the cylinder base elbow .
68. Firmly connect the marker rod/retract hose to
the cylinder base elbow .
69. Repeat step 64 through step 68 for the right wing.
