X Pixel and Offset Calibration (X Offset and PPX)

1. Select spot #3" (see diagram), and select to next MTP well.

2. Run the cutting run with just spots #2 and 3.

3. Check to see which of the following figures is closest to how yours appeared.

4. Select Calibration from the Operation Menu, then select Manual Calibration.

5. Enter the Serial Number.

6. Scenario 1:

(a)

The X Offset needs to be increased.

(b)

Once spot #2 is parallel to the left hand line, check to see if spot #3 is parallel to the
right hand line. Increase or decrease PPX depending on whether the third spot is left
or right the right hand line.

(c)

Once spot #3 is parallel with the right hand line, check to see if spot #2 is still
parallel to the left hand line. If it is, go the "Adjustments" below.

Scenario 2:

(a)

The PPX needs to be decreased.

(b)

Continue decreasing the PPX until it looks roughly like Scenario 1.

(c)

Continue with Scenario 1

Scenario 3:

(a)

The PPX needs to be increased.

(b)

Continue increasing the PPX until spot #3 is approximately the same distance right
of the right hand line as spot #2 is right of the left hand line.

(c) The X Offset will then need to be decreased.

Adjustments

Once the calibration has been completed, run the cutting run with all of the spots. If these

are all selected by the cutting tip in the right position, then select a 4th spot and run that. If
any changes are needed, adjust accordingly.
