Function

Carousel

Holds the collection tubes. The tube positions are
numbered 1-80 on the flange of the carousel, and
line up with the center of each tube. The carousel
is designed so that any liquid spilled in it will
flow to the center and out the rear of the base. The
carousel may also be used for storage of test
tubes.

Drop former

Seals against the inlet tubing (

Arm cap

Holds the drop former in place.

Drive gear

Engages the carousel and advances it.

Drive seal

Protects the electric drive from direct spills.

Waste line

Collects drainage or spills and directs it to waste.
