Regenerating, Cleaning,
Sanitizing, and Storage
Protein cross-contamination, frit clogging, and
increased backpressure can result from repeating
the number of uses beyond the recommended
number. After repeated use, a cartridge may run
slower or produce higher backpressure, an expected
result due to the very nature of the sample mixture.
The following cleaning and regeneration procedures
may be used, however, it is recommended to
dispose of the cartridge after several uses. To avoid
cross-contamination, it is recommended that single
cartridges are designated for single proteins.
To maintain good flow properties, it is recommended
that the cartridges are cleaned between each use.
