To enable RIP , complete the following steps:
1.
From the IP Configuration screen, highlight IP RIP and then press ENTER.
The IP RIP CONFIGURATION screen, shown in

Use the arrow keys to highlight the System Level RIP-1 field.
3.
Use the ENTER key to toggle the entry to ENABLED.
4.
Use the arrow keys to highlight the Port Level RIP-1 field.
5.
Use the ENTER key to toggle the entry to ENABLED.
6.
Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command at the bottom of the screen, and then press
ENTER. The message “SAVED OK” displays.
