11. For Simpana versions prior to 9.0, on the SQL Restore tab in the CommServeDisasterRecoveryGUI, select Restore
DB and provide the DR dump location for the database restore in the Restore file field.
12. For Simpana version 9.0 and later, on the Database Restore tab in the CommServeDisasterRecoveryGUI, select
Restore DB and Restore Single Dump or Restore Single Database radio button. Browse the Restore File field to
locate the database DR dump file.
NOTE: By default, the CommServe DR dump location is the first mountpath on the disk array. For example, if C:
\DiskStorage\1\1\SET_XY is the DR dump location, this location is available under C:\DiskStorage_Recovered
\1\1\SET_XY upon recovery. Thus, the DR dump is available to use in the CommServe Database Disaster
recovery operation.
NOTE: The CommVault disaster recovery backup is automatically created. By default, the disaster recovery
backup runs daily at 10:00 a.m. local time.
13. For Simpana versions prior to 9.0, select the Post Recovery tab and select:
– Perform Post Recovery operations
– Delete all Active jobs
– Reset index cache timestamps
– Disable scheduler
